Jacques Lowe was John F Kennedy’s official photographer from 1958-1962. Lowe died in May 2001. A few months later thousands of his negatives were destroyed in the attack on the World Trade Centre, New York, where they were being stored. A new book “The Kennedy Years“, featuring unseen photographs, has just been published. There is a good, short article in the Guardian about Lowe.
I like Mark Leong‘s photography, especially those taken in China.
In 2010, Leong was named Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photojournalist of the Year for his coverage of the Asian wildlife trade.
